Citizen Science is a partnership between individuals and scientists for investigating pressing questions about the world.

The purpose of this conference is bring together the Australian Citizen Science community to share skills and ideas and encourage collaboration.

Australian practitioners will lead interactive workshops with internationally recognised experts, highlighting good practice for creating and delivering successful Citizen Science projects.

Wheatbelt NRM has grants available to support community groups improve their capacity and recruit more members.

The Community Capacity Building Grants aim to help make your group stronger and more resilient so you can continue doing important NRM work into the future.

To be eligible, groups must be involved in natural resource management within the Avon River Basin. This includes Landcare groups, grower groups, scouts and Mens' Sheds.

Serving on the Wheatbelt NRM Board is a great opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of the community by providing strategic direction and leadership to our organisation.

Higher ranking will be given to candidates with skills in business development as well as those who would bring diversity to the Board.

The State Government has announced a $24 million investment to help protect and enhance Western Australia’s natural resources through the State Natural Resource Management (NRM) program.

Local community groups can now apply for grants of between $5,000 and $55,000 from the 2015-16 Community Action Grant round to support important natural resource management activities.
