Take A Sneak Peek Inside REstore. REshape. REnew

Posted in:
Sustainable Agriculture

It’s been a quick pivot from Talkin’ Soil Health, but our REstore. REshape. REnew. event - all about  harnessing natural capital for the farming future - is shaping up nicely.

Muresk Institute will provide the backdrop for two exciting workshops that focus on soil, business and farmer health. We’ve partnered with two leaders within the sustainable agriculture landscape – the Mulloon Institute and RSC - to deliver practical sessions aimed at growing productive and profitable businesses.

 Hitting The Road. Collecting Stories.

Over the past week, we’ve been out on the road from Newdegate to Kulin and up to Warralakin, collecting stories from farmers who are on individual journeys to improve the health of their soils and, in turn, their businesses.  These stories will form the basis for our REfreshed Perspectives panel session, hosted by Terry McCosker OAM.

We will hear stories from Jeff Edwards, Dane Farina, Rob Hetherington, Brendan & Gab Savage, Cindy Stevens and Simon Wallwork.

We’ve been delving into our participants practices, uncovering what individual success looks like and investigating the methods that they have put in place to realise system change. These stories will be shared after morning tea.

Hydrating Wheatbelt Landscapes

Salinity mitigation is one of the top priorities for soil health in the Wheatbelt. This practical workshop takes a fresh look at landscape rehydration, the indicators and the reasoning behind the selected management tools. Participants will come away better informed and better equipped to read their landscapes and identify historical water flows.

 Don’t Miss Out!

Places at these workshops are limited and bookings are now coming in. Tickets are $100 per session or $150 for the full day, including lunch and refreshments. Get your tickets here.
