Community Engagement

Community organisations in regional areas, that have ideas which could help their local community prepare for drought, can apply now for grants.

Community organisations could include local sporting or social groups, self-support organisations, local charity or welfare groups, volunteer organisations or any similar body.

If you are located within any of the 35 regional areas, please read the Communities Impact Program information on the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry website and promote this program to relevant stakeholders and regional communities.

To learn more about the 35 target regions, the Communities Impact Program and how to apply visit FRRR website here.

Applications for grant funding close 5pm AEST 26 September 2022.

These grants and related leadership support are available through the Communities Impact Program, which is part of the Future Drought Funds Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Initiative.
