Recently our Noongar Boodja Rangers responded to a call from AGT (Australian Grain Technologies) to assist in the removal of specific weeds and diseased plants in a lupin breeding trial, conducted in Bolgart.
AGT contacted our Rangers as they were aware our team is familiar with plant ID so this would be beneficial to assist in getting the job done properly.
The team of 10 Rangers completed an Occupational Health & Safety Induction and then travelled to the Bolgart site in the Wheatbelt where the trial is being conducted.
Our Team worked hard with AGT providing positive feedback about the Rangers around their knowledge, organisation and how quickly they could get organised and get the job done with short notice.
If you would like to find out more about our Noongar Boodja Rangers and the work they do please email Stephanie Cutmore: Stephanie.cutmore@wheatbeltnrm.org.au
