Apply for a Drought Resilience Scholarship with Nuffield Australia – deadline May 16th 2025

The Future Drought Fund is investing in five Nuffield scholarships that are specifically available to study drought resilience and support innovation.

These scholarships will support applicants to build drought resilience expertise, adapt innovative technology and practices from overseas and share these learnings to advance Australian agriculture.

To be considered for a 2026 scholarship, you need to apply in 2025. Applications for 2026 Nuffield Scholarships opened on Monday 17 February 2025 and close on the 16th of May. 

Research and travel start in 2026.

All scholarships are available to Australian citizens or permanent residents only. 

In addition to longstanding scholarship investors, the Future Drought Fund (FDF) is investing in at least five scholarships that are specifically available to study drought resilience and support innovation.

These scholarships will support applicants to build drought resilience expertise, adapt innovative technology and practices from overseas and share these learnings to advance Australian agriculture.
