Small and Vital grants open from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR)

The Foundation For Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) is offering grants to support communities to activate and strengthen local climate solutions with applications closing on the 24th of June.

There are two streams of grant including ‘Small and Vital’ which offers small grants of up to $10,000 and targeted larger leverage grants of up to $50,000.

The Prepare and Recover stream offers grants of up to $25,000.

The Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) Small and Vital stream gives small remote, rural and regional communities across Australia the opportunity to access funds for a broad range of initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities.

Small grants of up to $10,000 are available for a broad range of grassroots, community-led initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities that strengthen local people, places and climate solutions with a preference for smaller communities (populations under 15,000). The timeframe to deliver these projects is up to 12 months.
