Project Support Officer, Healthy Environments
This position will support biodiversity projects until the end of October 2027.
Working under the guidance of experienced project staff, this role is an opportunity to apply and develop biodiversity and conservation knowledge while contributing directly to practical environmental outcomes across the region.

Expression of Interest: Join the Noongar Boodja Ranger Team
The Noongar Boodja Rangers are seeking passionate individuals to join our skilled team working on natural resource management projects across the Wheatbelt. Since 2014, we’ve provided ongoing employment for Aboriginal people, focusing on connecting locals to their communities and Country (Boodja).
Our projects include parkland restoration, native seed collection, revegetation for rehabilitation, and ongoing site maintenance for local councils and MainRoads.
With a blend of traditional knowledge and modern skills, the Rangers offer a comprehensive revegetation service from seed collection to planting.

This project supports landholders to protect Carnaby's Black-Cockatoo habitats and additionally benefits Wheatbelt Eucalypt Woodlands, with actions like revegetation, pest control, habitat restoration, and critical site surveys.

This project focuses on conserving the critically endangered Eucalypt Woodlands of the Western Australian Wheatbelt by working with landholders and the community to implement actions like revegetation, fencing, and weed control.
Healthy Soils Healthy Rivers Special Small Grants Program 2026/27
This project supports local community groups to undertake on-ground activities along the Avon River that directly improve water quality and soil health, funded by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
