This report forms part of an investigation undertaken to assess the impact of farm dams on environmental flows within the Avon River. It provides a preliminary assessment of Local Government planning provisions regulating dam construction in the Avon Arc and provides preliminary recommendations to the Local Government for an interim dam planning policy framework.
