Community Engagement

We are pleased to welcome Reid Smith to our team. “I was born and raised in Goomalling and am really excited to be back working in the region,” he said.  Reid will be taking up the marketing and communications portfolio and is keen to collaborate with our members and foster proactive community engagement with WNRM and our various projects and programs.

“If anyone would like to reach out to discuss their projects or ideas, it would be great to hear from you”; RSmith@Wheatbeltnrm.org.au

Reid’s background is in film and photography, having worked on Australian feature films 1%, A Few Less Men and Three Summers.  He is also an avid field hockey player, coaching and playing with the Perth Pythons Hockey Club and Westside Wolves HC.

“I’ve got a lot to learn still, there’s so much going on at WNRM, but the team are really passionate about what they do so I’m excited to learn as much as I can from them,” Reid said.
