Find us in the DPIRD shed at the 2025 Dowerin Machinery Field Days

Wheatbelt NRM will again be located in the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development shed at the 2025 Dowerin Machinery Field Days.

The two day event is a fantastic opportunity to connect face to face with our community, an event we look forward to being a part of every year.

If you are heading to the Dowerin Machinery Field Days this year come and find out about the projects our team are currently working on and how we can help you and your patch of the Wheatbelt.

Current funding opportunities include:

  • being involved in projects which protect the Eucalypt Woodlands of the Wheatbelt, which are a Threatened Ecological Community (TEC).

  • protecting breeding habitats of Carnaby Black Cockatoo’s.

Find out what our Sustainable Ag team are up to, including creating the new Regional NRM plan for the Wheatbelt and our Wheatbelt land-use paradigms project - navigating new industries in the low carbon and natural capital era.

Discover the important projects our Noongar Boodja Ranger team are involved with and find out how to become involved by providing ongoing work on Boodja (country) for our Aboriginal Rangers.

Our Dowerin Machinery Field Days display will also have a selection of Wheatbelt NRM publications for sale including the Ballardong Noongar Dictionary and Birds of the Avon River Basin.

Come and say hello and find out how you can partner with Wheatbelt NRM to be a part of creating positive change in land management in the Wheatbelt.

If you would like to schedule a time to meet with the team at the Dowerin Machinery Field Days please email us with the day you’ll be there and what you’d like to chat about so our team can answer all your questions.
