2025 Soil Health Champions Announced

On March 13th following the Talkin’ Soil Health Symposium the Western Australian Soil Health Champion’s were announced at Faversham House in York as part of the Wheatbelt NRM cocktail party.

The Western Australian Soil Health Champion awards have been taking place since 2013 on a biennial basis in conjunction with the Talkin’ Soil Health Symposium.

A Soil Health Champion is a producer who inspires those around them, has a strong drive to improve the health of their soils, strives for excellence in the food they produce and believes healthy soils are not an option – they are mandatory.

Soil Health Champions are nominated through their local NRM group.
