Sustainable Agriculture

Please welcome our newest member to the team, Millie!

Millie is originally from Albany and moved to Perth to study a Bachelor of Science, with a Major in Agriculture Science, at UWA. She worked at CBH, in the Grower Service Centre, in a casual capacity whilst studying, here she assisted growers with the delivery and marketing of their grain.

Passionate about climate change mitigation, particularly within the agriculture space, Millie’s dream job is to assist farmers towards making sustainable agriculture practices more accessible and achievable whilst ensuring that production is still met, without the environmental cost. Fascinated by the resilience in farmers and regional communities, she is curious about how we may help them respond to changes that may occur in the future.

In Millie’s spare time she likes to take the trip from Northam (where she now lives) to Perth to see her friends or head back home to nature where she spent most of her childhood in Bremer Bay and Peaceful Bay.

Millie displayed the mature outlook we were looking for, with big picture in mind thinking, to fulfil our Project Delivery Officer role within the Sustainable Agriculture team. Always interested in learning anything new she is currently working on our Dung Beetle and Soil Health projects (amongst other things) so contact her if you have anything exciting to share. You can email her here: mbrady@wheatbeltnrm.org.au

If you would like more information on all things dung beetles, from trapping to attracting them to your property, please get in contact with us by calling or emailing Millie Brady on 0477 885 514
