Did Someone Say Free Trees?

Posted in:
Healthy Environments

Do you want to attract small birds and honeyeaters to your garden?

Do you want to provide food plants for our Carnaby’s Cockatoo, Pygmy Possums and Honey Possums?

Wheatbelt NRM have free trees for community members who want to join us in improving the environment of the Wheatbelt. Come and meet our staff at one of these locations and discuss how we can work together to protect our unique environment.

This year’s locations include:

  • Beverley – out the front of the CRC on Monday 9 August, from 1.30 – 3.30 pm.
  • Mukinbudin – out the front of the CRC on Tuesday 10 August, from 12.30 – 2.30 pm.
  • Cunderdin – out the front of the CRC on Wednesday 11 August, from 1.30 – 3.30 pm.
  • Northam – at the Wheatbelt NRM Office on Thursday 12 August, from 11.00 am – 2.00 pm.

We look forward to seeing you out and about.

The project is supported by funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
