2023 Mooditj Boodja Student Environment Award
Jumbatron Webform:

Your school is invited to take part in this year’s Mooditj Boodja Environmental Award for Students who are actively involved in Landcare or natural resource management work.

Mooditj Boodja means ‘strong country’ in the Noongar language and recipients of the award often embody these values through their involvement in environmental projects.

Wheatbelt NRM offers the Mooditj Boodja Environmental Award FREE for Students annually to primary and secondary schools throughout the Avon River Basin with winners receiving two of our publications (Birds of the Avon River Basin and Ballardong Noongar Dictionary RRP $57.00) and a ‘Certificate of Merit’ presented by a school representative, due to scheduling issues Wheatbelt NRM members will not be presenting the award.

Wheatbelt NRM is an independent, community-based organisation providing leadership in natural resource management in the Wheatbelt region with an emphasis on biodiversity, sustainable agriculture, sustainable communities and aquatic health.

Please note that the awards are limited to 20 participating schools. Nominations close 10 November 2023.
