The Opportunity

We are a dynamic, passionate team engaging the Wheatbelt community in the protection and enhancement of our natural environment. 

The Manager of Corporate Services is a member of the Wheatbelt NRM Senior Management Team and plays a pivotal role in setting the tone for the organisational culture, and overseeing human resources, finance, internal systems, and governance functions of the organisation.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring energy and commitment to managing complex business services and systems, and have experience in interpersonal relationships.

You will be part of a dynamic team driving corporate performance for a relatively small but agile not-for-profit that is funded through both State and Commonwealth programs. Your experience in developing commercial activities will align with our strategic vision in growing the organisation.

You will be an excellent problem solver, have experience managing team environments, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have a positive attitude, be keen to collaborate to achieve team goals and willing to jump in and get the job done.

Experience in a similar role with a track record of success is essential. Qualifications in financial and business management and/or Human Resource Management are desirable but not essential. 

Why Wheatbelt NRM?

Wheatbelt Natural Resource Management is an independent, community-based organisation that provides leadership in the management of natural resources of the Avon River Basin of WA. We aim for the sustainable use and enjoyment of the unique natural resources of the Wheatbelt.

We have three key streams of activity.  The Healthy Environment team works to protect and manage biodiversity, both flora and fauna.  The Sustainable Agriculture team focuses on sustainable, resilient agricultural systems and soil health.  The Aboriginal NRM program provides pathways to employment on country through Ranger programs and works to support the Ballardong Elders group to implement the Koort Boodjar – Mia Boodjar Aboriginal NRM Action Plan 2021-2026.
