In 2011, The Men of the Trees Inc applied to Wheatbelt NRM for a Small Community Grant to enable them to deliver “Treemendous Trees” to regional primary schools. The kits promote the need for revegetation and aim to develop an appreciation for the role of trees and the products and services they provide in nature and to humankind. The project also introduced children ad teachers to the propagation of the most common species and introduced the most commonly used Natural Resource Management (NRM) terms.
