Finance Manager
Based in Northam, WA
Contract until 30 June 2024
Salary per annum from $85,599
Full time or during school hours (negotiable)
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, the Finance Manager is an active member of the support team in managing the financial activity of the organisation. Regular duties include accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, monthly financial reports, and managing competing priorities for our project teams. The role is flexible for a full-time employee at 38 hours per week or a part time employee working Monday through Friday during school hours. Options for remote work is available after a probationary period.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary degree or qualification in business systems or finance, or at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Accuracy and attention to detail will be highly regarded. To be eligible to apply you must be an Australian citizen or entitled to work in Australia, and you must have a valid Western Australian driver’s license.

Selection Criteria
When applying, please address the following selection criteria
- Tertiary degree and/ or +3 years experience in finance systems
- Experience in MYOB would be well regarded
- Good data management, administration and written communication skills
- Experience in using technology to enter, extract, and analyse data for the purpose of communicating complex ideas to a wide range of stakeholders (project teams, board, community)
- Able to approach team problems from a solution-based mindset.
- Able to demonstrate our workplace values (Respectful, Accountable, Encouraging, Inclusive, Agile)
- Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrate confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive information
