With an exciting lineup of high quality guests, join us for this bio-amendments workshop focusing on our composted waste project.
A major highlight will be Wheatbelt Soil Health Champion Rob Grylls from Gabbin, who will discuss his use of composted chicken manure as a partial replacement for conventional fertilisers.
The workshop will include:
- Trial results and discussion with Grylls and what he has learnt from the trial.
- Composting processes with agricultural waste and chicken manure.
- Soil amelioration with claying, delving and spading with Wheatbelt Soil Health Champion and Bolgart farmer Trevor Syme Bolgart.
- Use of bio-amendments in broad acre farming with Wheatbelt Soil Health Champion and Buntine farmer Stuart McAlpine.
