Are your Malleefowl still around? We want to know

Healthy Environments

As we speak to the community about our exciting Malleefowl work we often get the comment that people used to see Malleefowl but haven’t seen any for a few years now.

Is this iconic bird disappearing from our bushland?

We are committed to protecting Malleefowl in the Wheatbelt and we can only do it with your help.

Have you seen one recently? Trayning farmer Luke Yates caught this slightly flustered Malleefowl having a feed in his paddock past year.

Even if you used to see them a few years ago we want to know about it. This information will allow us to identify action that may help rebuild the population.

Our very easy online survey lets you show us exactly where to look.
