Recognising Woman Farmers Survey

The survey results analysed below are from women in the Wheatbelt who attended one of 9 events to hear what five women farmers had learnt from a study tour to Birchip in Victoria to meet farmers who had been managing with a drought for 10 years. The surveys were completed in December 2010, after the second lowest growing season rainfall on record.

The survey was intended to gauge the success of the project and collect social data to assist Wheatbelt NRM in improving its knowledge management strategy.
