Sheep Industry Scholarships – WA’s Sheep Industry Business Innovation scholarship program offers up to $38,000 annually towards two PhD students, $10,000 each towards two Masters and $5000 towards a minimum of six Honours students across all disciplines at WA universities for work into areas identified as relevant to the WA sheep industry supply chain. Closes: March 2018
MLA Producer Innovation Fast-track Program – providing expertise, co-funding and support to innovative producers, early adopters, AgTech entrepreneurs, or future value chain leaders.
SproutX – funding for AgTech innovators and startups to develop and commercialise ideas for the Ag industry. Includes $40,000 capital, mentoring and office space for six months.
Farming Together initiative – opportunities for primary producers to collaborate and achieve farmgate benefits in the market place.
Managing Farm Risk Programme – rebates to $2500 to help farmers prepare and apply for a new insurance policy that assists with drought management and other production and market risks.
Drought Concessional Loans in WA – assisting farmers impacted by drought to access concessional interest rate loans at 3.05%.

Water Innovation Irrigation Grants – for innovative water use in agriculture. Opens: July 2017.
Charitable Recyclers Rebate – funding for charitable recyclers to claim landfill levy rebate and help cover costs of illegal dumping at charity bins.
Lotterywest Heritage and Conservation Grants – helping conserve, protect, explain and share various aspects of our natural and cultural heritage.
Citizen Science Grants – $50,000 to $500,000 to engage public in science by taking part in scientific research projects.
Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal - the FRRR offers several different grants for the community. Grants must be used for a charitable purpose that benefits the residents of Australia's rural, regional or remote communities.
Regional Grants Scheme and Community Chest Fund - The Regional Grants Scheme and Community Chest Fund are Royalties for Regions initiatives that seek to improve economic and community infrastructure and services in regional Western Australia. Grants ranging from $20,001 to $300,000 are available under the Regional Grants Scheme and up to $20,000 is available under the Community Chest Fund.
