The Grower Group Alliance, in partnership with the CBH Group, is providing governance workshops for grower and community groups in WA.

The free, one-day workshop is designed for grower group’s committee members or staff to build skills and knowledge in best practice governance for their local grower or community group.

The workshop covers:

Roles and Responsibilities of the Not-For-Profit

- Introduction to governance for committee members of not-for-profit organisations
- Duties and responsibilities of committees and boards
- The role of the not-for-profit board
- Accountability and performance measurement

 Strategy and Risk for the Not-For-Profit Director

– Introduction to setting and achieving strategic goals
– Strategic planning for your not-for-profit group
– Risk management for not-for-profit organisations 
– Working with stakeholders
